1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Anjiy platform (mobile apps, website, or any related services), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. These Terms apply to all users, including:
- Patients: Individuals seeking healthcare services
- Healthcare Providers: Licensed doctors, nurses, pharmacists, lab technicians
- Administrators: Healthcare facility staff and system administrators
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our services independently. Minors may use the services with parental consent and supervision.
2. Description of Services
Anjiy provides a health organization technology platform. Some regulated services are available only where legally approved, provider-backed, and enabled in production:
2.1 Core Services
- Health Organization: Personal and family health records, reminders, documents, and emergency health passport workflows
- Telemedicine Infrastructure: Video/audio appointment workflows only for approved healthcare providers in approved markets
- Appointment Organization: Appointment requests, reminders, visit history, and care context
- Prescription Records: User-controlled prescription record management where legally available
- Medication Organization: Medication lists, reminders, and pharmacy information where legally available
- Lab Results: Storage and organization of laboratory result documents
- Wellness Tracking: Personal wellness tracking and user-entered health context
- AI-Assisted Wellness Support: Non-diagnostic educational support only where approved and enabled
- Women's Health: Menstrual cycle tracking, pregnancy organization, and fertility tracking
- Digital Wallet: Payment processing only where production payments are approved and enabled
- Insurance Integration: Insurance document organization and partner workflows where approved
- Hospital Finder: Locate nearby healthcare facilities
- Emergency Services: Access to emergency contact information and resources
2.2 Service Availability
- Account access and record organization may be available 24/7, subject to maintenance and outages
- Regulated services vary by country and may be disabled in first-release markets
- Service features may vary by region due to local laws and regulations
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services without prior notice
3. Medical Disclaimer & Limitations
⚠️ CRITICAL MEDICAL DISCLAIMERS - READ CAREFULLY
3.1 Not a Replacement for Emergency Services
IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, CALL YOUR LOCAL EMERGENCY NUMBER IMMEDIATELY (911 in US, 112 in EU, etc.). DO NOT USE ANJIY FOR EMERGENCIES.
Conditions requiring emergency care include but not limited to: chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, loss of consciousness, stroke symptoms, severe allergic reactions, major injuries, suicidal thoughts.
3.2 Telemedicine Limitations
Where telemedicine is legally approved and enabled, it has inherent limitations:
- Doctors cannot perform physical examinations
- Some conditions require in-person evaluation and diagnostic tests
- Technology failures may interrupt consultations
- Video quality may affect clinical assessment
- Not suitable for all medical conditions
3.3 AI Services Are NOT Medical Advice
Where AI features are approved and enabled, AI outputs:
- ARE NOT medical diagnoses or professional medical advice
- ARE NOT substitutes for consultation with licensed healthcare providers
- MAY CONTAIN errors, inaccuracies, or incomplete information
- SHOULD NOT be used for emergency situations
- ARE PROVIDED for informational and educational purposes only
Always consult a licensed healthcare provider before making medical decisions based on AI recommendations.
3.4 Healthcare Provider Relationship
Where provider workflows are approved and enabled, Anjiy is a technology platform that facilitates connections between patients and independent healthcare providers. We:
- DO NOT practice medicine or provide medical advice
- DO NOT employ the healthcare providers on our platform
- ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE for the quality, safety, or outcomes of care provided by healthcare professionals
- DO NOT guarantee availability of specific providers or services
Healthcare providers are independent contractors responsible for their own medical decisions, diagnoses, and treatments.
3.5 No Guarantees or Warranties
We make NO WARRANTIES regarding:
- Medical outcomes or treatment results
- Accuracy of health information or AI recommendations
- Availability of healthcare providers
- Cure, prevention, or improvement of any condition
4. Account Registration & Security
4.1 Account Creation
To use Anjiy services, you must:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Verify your email address and phone number
- Create a secure password meeting our requirements
- Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and security PIN
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access: security@anjiy.tech
- Logging out after each session, especially on shared devices
4.3 Identity Verification
We may require identity verification for:
- Prescription services (government-issued ID)
- Financial transactions above certain thresholds
- Healthcare provider registration (medical licenses)
- Insurance claim processing
5. Telemedicine Consultations
5.1 Informed Consent for Telemedicine
Telemedicine services are disabled unless approved and enabled for your country and provider. Where enabled, by using telemedicine services, you consent to:
- Remote consultation via video/audio technology, subject to local law and provider scope
- Recording of consultations for quality assurance and legal protection (with notice)
- Sharing of your medical information with the consulting healthcare provider
- Electronic prescription transmission only where legally available and configured
5.2 Your Responsibilities During Consultations
- Provide accurate and complete medical history
- Be in a private, well-lit location with stable internet connection
- Disclose all current medications, allergies, and medical conditions
- Follow the provider's instructions and treatment plan
- Seek in-person care if recommended by the provider
5.3 Consultation Fees & Cancellations
- Fees: Where paid consultations are enabled, fees are displayed before booking and are non-refundable after consultation begins
- Cancellation: Cancel up to 24 hours before appointment for full refund
- No-Show: Failure to join consultation within 15 minutes = no refund
- Provider Cancellation: Full refund if provider cancels
5.4 Technical Requirements
- Stable internet connection (minimum 2 Mbps recommended)
- Device with camera and microphone (for video consultations)
- Latest version of Anjiy mobile app or supported web browser
- We are not liable for technical failures affecting consultation quality.
6. Prescriptions & Pharmacy Services
6.1 Electronic Prescriptions
Prescription and pharmacy workflows are disabled unless legally approved and enabled for the relevant country and provider.
- Prescriptions may be issued by licensed healthcare providers only where the workflow is legally approved and enabled
- Subject to local pharmacy laws and controlled substance regulations
- We do NOT guarantee any healthcare provider will prescribe specific medications
- Electronic transmission to pharmacies occurs only where legally available and configured
6.2 Controlled Substances
IMPORTANT: Prescriptions for controlled substances (opioids, stimulants, benzodiazepines) are subject to strict regulations:
- May require in-person examination in many jurisdictions
- Subject to prescription monitoring programs
- Limited refills and quantities
- We reserve the right to refuse filling controlled substance prescriptions via telemedicine
6.3 Pharmacy Delivery
- Delivery times vary by location (typically 1-5 business days)
- Signature may be required for controlled substances
- We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by third-party couriers
- Check medication upon receipt; report damages within 24 hours
6.4 Medication Information
- Drug information provided for educational purposes only
- Always read medication labels and package inserts
- Consult pharmacist or doctor with questions about medications
- Report adverse reactions to your doctor immediately
7. Payments, Wallet & Refunds
7.1 Digital Wallet
- Currency: XAF (Central African Franc), USD, EUR, GBP depending on region
- Adding Funds: Credit/debit cards (Stripe), PayPal, bank transfer, mobile money
- Security: PIN required for all wallet transactions
- Balance Protection: Wallet balances are not FDIC-insured and are not bank accounts
7.2 Payment Processing
- Processors: Stripe, PayPal (PCI DSS Level 1 certified)
- Fees: Service fees, consultation fees, delivery charges disclosed before payment
- Currency Conversion: Foreign transaction fees may apply
- Failed Payments: Service may be suspended for insufficient funds or declined payments
7.3 Refund Policy
- Consultations: Full refund if cancelled 24+ hours before appointment
- Medications: No refunds on prescription medications once dispensed (FDA regulation)
- Services: Refunds processed to original payment method within 5-10 business days
- Disputes: Contact billing@anjiy.tech within 30 days
7.4 Insurance Claims
- We may submit claims to your insurance company on your behalf
- You are responsible for: Verifying insurance coverage, paying deductibles/copays, understanding plan benefits
- We are not responsible for: Insurance claim denials, coverage limitations, reimbursement delays
8. AI-Powered Services & Limitations
8.1 AI Symptom Checker
AI symptom assessment is disabled in first-release markets unless separately approved, disclosed, proxied, rate-limited, and configured.
The AI Symptom Checker is for informational purposes ONLY and is NOT:
- A medical diagnosis or professional medical opinion
- A substitute for in-person medical evaluation
- Appropriate for emergency situations
- Guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or up-to-date
Always consult a licensed healthcare provider for medical advice.
8.2 AI Recommendations
- AI suggestions are generated only where AI features are approved and enabled
- Results depend on information you provide (accuracy of input affects output)
- AI may not account for your complete medical history or unique circumstances
- We are not liable for decisions made based on AI recommendations
8.3 Data Used for AI Training
- We may use anonymized, de-identified health data to improve AI models
- No personally identifiable information (PII) or PHI is used for AI training without consent
- You can opt-out of AI training data usage in app settings
9. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities
9.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use Anjiy services lawfully and appropriately. You will NOT:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the platform for fraudulent purposes
- Attempt to obtain prescriptions for non-medical purposes (drug abuse, resale)
- Harass, threaten, or abuse healthcare providers or other users
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Scrape, data mine, or reverse engineer the platform
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
9.2 Healthcare Provider Obligations
Healthcare providers using Anjiy must:
- Maintain valid, current medical licenses in jurisdictions where they practice
- Comply with medical ethics, standards of care, and professional regulations
- Maintain professional liability insurance (malpractice coverage)
- Follow applicable health privacy and data protection laws
- Provide truthful information about qualifications and specialties
9.3 Consequences of Violations
Violations may result in:
- Account suspension or termination
- Forfeiture of wallet balance
- Reporting to law enforcement
- Legal action for damages
10. Intellectual Property Rights
10.1 Anjiy Ownership
All content, features, and functionality of the Anjiy platform are owned by Anjiy Inc. and protected by:
- Copyright, trademark, patent, and trade secret laws
- International intellectual property treaties
Protected materials include: Software code, user interfaces, logos, branding, medical content, AI algorithms, databases, designs.
10.2 Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Access and use the Anjiy platform for personal, non-commercial healthcare purposes
- Download the mobile app on your personal device
You may NOT: Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works.
10.3 User-Generated Content
By submitting content (reviews, feedback, photos), you grant Anjiy:
- A worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content
- The right to use your feedback to improve services
- Note: Your medical records and PHI are NOT considered "user-generated content" and remain your property
10.4 Trademarks
"Anjiy," the Anjiy logo, and related marks are trademarks of Anjiy Inc. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
11. Limitation of Liability
⚠️ IMPORTANT LIABILITY LIMITATIONS
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANJIY INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
11.1 Medical Outcomes
- Misdiagnoses, incorrect treatments, or adverse medical outcomes
- Decisions or actions of healthcare providers on the platform
- Medication errors, allergic reactions, or side effects
- Failure to diagnose or delayed diagnosis
- Worsening of medical conditions
11.2 Technical Issues
- Service interruptions, downtime, or technical failures
- Loss of data, medical records, or account information
- Video/audio quality issues during consultations
- Payment processing errors or delays
- Third-party service failures (Stripe, PayPal, Agora)
11.3 Indirect Damages
- Lost profits, revenue, or business opportunities
- Emotional distress or pain and suffering
- Consequential, incidental, or punitive damages
11.4 Maximum Liability Cap
IN NO EVENT SHALL ANJIY'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ANJIY IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
11.5 No Liability for Third Parties
We are not responsible for:
- Actions of independent healthcare providers
- Pharmacies, laboratories, or hospitals
- Third-party payment processors
- Delivery services
- Third-party websites or services linked from our platform
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Anjiy Inc. from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the platform
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any laws or regulations
- Your violation of third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy, etc.)
- Content you submit to the platform
- Your interactions with healthcare providers
13. Termination & Account Suspension
13.1 Termination by You
- You may request account deletion at www.anjiy.tech/account-deletion.html or by emailing privacy@anjiy.tech
- Upon termination, you forfeit any unused wallet balance (except where prohibited by law)
- Medical records retained for legally required periods, then securely deleted or de-identified where appropriate
13.2 Termination by Anjiy
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately without notice for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent activity or payment disputes
- Abusive behavior toward healthcare providers or staff
- Suspected criminal activity
- Non-payment of fees
- Inactivity for 2+ years
13.3 Effect of Termination
- Access to services immediately terminated
- Outstanding fees become due immediately
- Wallet balance may be forfeited (check local laws)
- Medical records remain accessible for 30 days post-termination for download
14. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
14.1 Informal Resolution
PLEASE CONTACT US FIRST: Before filing a legal claim, contact legal@anjiy.tech to attempt informal resolution. Most disputes can be resolved quickly and amicably.
14.2 Binding Arbitration (US Users)
ARBITRATION AGREEMENT (US USERS):
- Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of Anjiy services shall be resolved by binding arbitration
- Arbitration conducted under American Arbitration Association (AAA) rules
- Arbitration location: Delaware or your state of residence
- You WAIVE your right to a jury trial and class action participation
- Opt-Out: You may opt-out within 30 days by emailing arbitration-opt-out@anjiy.tech
14.3 Exceptions to Arbitration
The following disputes are NOT subject to arbitration:
- Small claims court actions (under $10,000)
- Intellectual property disputes (trademark, copyright infringement)
- Requests for injunctive relief
14.4 International Users
Non-US users: Disputes resolved under the laws of your country of residence. See Section 15 for governing law.
15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
15.1 United States Users
- Governing Law: Delaware law (without regard to conflict of laws principles)
- Jurisdiction: Delaware state or federal courts (if arbitration doesn't apply)
- Applicable Law: Health, consumer protection, privacy, and platform rules may apply depending on jurisdiction
15.2 European Union Users
- Governing Law: Laws of your EU member state
- Consumer Protection: EU consumer protection laws apply
- GDPR: EU data protection rights cannot be waived
15.3 Other Jurisdictions
- Cameroon: Cameroonian law governs
- Nigeria: Nigerian law governs
- Other Countries: Local laws of your country of residence
16. Miscellaneous Provisions
16.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Anjiy regarding use of our services.
16.2 Modifications
- We may update these Terms at any time
- You'll be notified 30 days before material changes take effect
- Continued use after notification = acceptance of new Terms
- If you don't agree to changes, you must stop using our services
16.3 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
16.4 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
16.5 Assignment
- You may not assign these Terms without our written consent
- We may assign these Terms to affiliates or in connection with a merger/acquisition
16.6 Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, wars, pandemics, government actions, internet outages).
16.7 Notices
Legal notices sent to:

16.8 Language
These Terms are provided in English, French, German, and Spanish. In case of conflict, the English version prevails.
BY CREATING AN ACCOUNT AND USING ANJIY SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE.
